Avandia - A Diabetes Drug

The most common diabetes drug in the U.S., Avandia®, or rosiglitazone, is designed to increase the body’s sensitivity to insulin. It is used only to treat type 2, non-insulin dependent diabetes, and has been on the market since 1999.
