According to the authorities, this accident occurred at the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Park Avenue yesterday at approximately 9:30 a.m. An unidentified 22-year-old male student was riding his bicycle in the intersection when he was hit by a driver who was about to turn left into the intersection, approached the intersection with too much speed, swung wide to the right to avoid other vehicles, and hit the bicyclist as a result. No arrests have been made nor have citations been issued at this point.
