Trucker on Trial for 4 Motorcycle Deaths

Michael Jakscht, 47 is on trial for the second time, this time for killing 4 bike riders in a tragic trucking accident. He is charged with four counts of manslaughter, five counts of aggravated assault, and four counts of endangerment. Michael was tested positive for methamphetamines after the car accident. If the jury determines that he is impaired at the time of the accident then he will be guilty.

The accident happened in 2010, eight bikers were stopped at a red light until suddenly a 23,000-pound truck started bearing down on them. Instantly, the bikers were tossed in the air. Todd Fasasse, who survived the horrific accident, was thrown 50 feet and suffered severe injuries including a broken back, cracked ribs, a dislocated neck, and a concussion.

The others were not so lucky some were incinerated under the truck after their bikes gas tanks exploded.
