Arizona Drunk Driving Motorcycle Accident Injuries

On January 1, 2010 a serious motorcycle accident in the North Valley area of Phoenix injured two people severely and sent them to the hospital. The accident happened at 19th Avenue and Jomax Road on Saturday afternoon. Police said the motorcycle was traveling North on 19th Avenue and failed to completely make the left turn onto Jomax Road. Police said the riders, a man and a woman both in their 40s, were not wearing helmets. The woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with a broken arm, police said. The man was flown to a local hospital, and his condition was unknown Saturday night.Phoenix police are still trying to determine a cause and believe alcohol may have been a factor.
