What Types of Business Litigation Services Do We Provide?
Our Tucson business litigation lawyers at Phillips Law Group offer several types of services, including:
- Breach of contract”“ This is a common dispute that occurs when the terms of a binding agreement are broken by one or more parties. If a resolution is not found, you may have grounds for taking legal action.
- Landlord/Tenant disputes”“ Any number of issues may arise between a landlord and a tenant. Sometimes these issues, which may involve everything from rental payments and property damage to maintenance issues and breach of privacy, can quickly become heated without an attorney to intervene on your behalf.
- Contract disputes”“ Even when there is a written business agreement, disputes may arise at a later time regarding certain details or terms of the contract. In the case of a verbal agreement, the validity of whether an agreement exists may come into question.
- Shareholder disputes”“ Company shareholders often disagree about many of the inner workings of a company that may impact the management, governance or day-to-day general operations.
- Franchise disputes”“ Franchise disputes can be fairly complicated because many problems may arise, including trademark violations, false advertising, non-compliance of company policies, as well as breach of contract issues. Involvement of a third party is also common.
- Construction contract disputes”“ If a contractor does not comply with a project contract, such as grossly exceeding the agreed upon budget or causing multiple unexplained project delays, there could be cause for legal action.
- Trademark/Copyright disputes”“ The intellectual property of a business or individual is their brand. If another individual or company uses or misuses a copyright belonging to another company or individual, without the owner’s permission, it can cost the owner a loss in revenue and future profits.

Are Verbal Agreements Valid in Arizona?
While a written and signed contract provides better clarity and protection when you are trying to resolve a business dispute, there are some types of verbal agreements that may be legally binding. However, it is important to note that even if a verbal agreement is recognized as binding, you will have the burden of proving its validity.
Additionally, any contract that falls under Arizona’s statute of frauds is only valid if there is a written agreement.

My review is for Kathy Hudson a legal assistant at the law firm. She is great! She is very professional and a fair based person. She was never rude to me and always called me back. She listened to me and had my best interest as number 1. Mr Nasir who is a supervisor at law firm also was very professional and helpful. Not sure if spelling his name correctly but sorry if not. As far as mr Ross and the lady that runs the front desk reception I would say they are the most unprofessional and rude people I have met at a law firm in my life especially beings they were representing me. But Kathy made it overall a better experience. Thx Kathy.
Two family members were in a bad wreck a couple of years ago, and as a result called Phillips Law to represent them. Montana Thompson was the attorney assigned to the case with the help of Nemo Farr as legal assistant. Mr. Thompson litigated a very generous settlement for both my stepdaughter and her son. Because my grandson is a minor, I decided to act as conservator for him to ensure the settlement was safe and secure. Montana helped with that process, but it was Nemo who went way above and beyond the call in finding a financial institution to use for the restricted account. There were some glitches in that process but Nemo helped navigate them with a calm expertise which belies his age. I would consider them both great representatives of the level of commitment to their clients and assets to their firm.

Thank you Phillips Law Group for all the support and back to school assistance we appreciate it.
I was recently served court documents that I was being sued from an accident that happened years ago. For someone who has never been through something like this and not familiar with the court lingo or where to even begin, it was very frustrating and stressful. I reached out to a family member who knew Tracy Laskos and the great reputation of Phillips Law Group and within the hours of the initial call for help, I had a direct number to Lead Attorney Nassar. Nassar heard my case and almost instantly put me at ease by explaining the process and how easy it was to handle. Nassar spoke to me like he was a friend, not like I was a client. I am so grateful to Tracy, Nasar and of course my cousin Stephanie for helping out and giving me the direction that I needed to get through this situation. I plan on referring my friends, family and patients that are in need of a personal injury Attorney to Phillips Law Group. Thank you!!
My Attorney Sean Davis and his paralegal Hannah Dustin worked on my case. They listened to the problems that I was having with my case and they both got right to work. First they found me a doctor that actually listened to my problems from my car accident and worked quickly to form a plan that was comfortable for me and the doctor. The doctor was the best and after a couple of procedures the pain in my neck was gone. Behind the scenes Sean and Hannah were working hard to get my case settled with the insurance company. They kept in contact with me on all aspects of my case. They settled my case much faster than I expected and for more than I was expecting. If you want two real professional legal people to work on your case, I would highly recommend Sean and Hannah to you. I cannot say enough nice things about these two. Thank you so much, Rickey Hart .
Jasmine , did a great job . Highly recommend!!!!!
