Castro was traveling on the Interstate when he pulled off on the Miller Road exit to have his two backseat passengers, his daughter and mother-in-law, get out of the vehicle. Castro had an altercation with his wife prior to instructing those two to get out of the car.

The Yukon rolled after the impact, according to reports from the Department of Public Safety. Five of the occupants in the Yukon were children, all of which were ejected from the vehicle upon the crash causing injuries.
All of the accident victims but one has been released from the local hospital in which they received car. All of these passengers are expected to survive. Castro has been arrested for several felony charges and has been booked at the Maricopa County Jail.
