According to authorities, this multi-vehicle Cottonwood car accident occurred yesterday at approximately 5:30 p.m. on State Route 260 between Godard Road and Del Rio Drive.

Witnesses have stated that the driver of a white van drifted into the opposite lane of oncoming traffic and struck an SUV moving in the opposite direction. The SUV then spun out of control and struck two other vehicles. Rescue workers quickly arrived on the scene and extricated the injured parties. They were transported to nearby hospitals.
