YUMA, AZ – A man was airlifted to the hospital following a collision involving a semi-truck in Yuma on Tuesday evening.
According to KYMA, the incident was reported at about 5 p.m. within the 7900 block of East 30th Street, just west of I-8.
Yuma Police say a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt crashed into an unoccupied semi parked in the roadway.
The Cobalt’s 21-year-old driver was rushed to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment and was subsequently flown to a hospital in Phoenix. He is currently in stable condition.
