Motorcyclist Killed in Crash By Driver Suspected of DUI

PHOENIX, AZ – A Phoenix woman could be facing charges following a Wednesday morning crash that killed a motorcyclist. According to CBS 5, the incident occurred at about 6 a.m. near the intersection of McDowell Road and 19th Avenue.

Police say 58-year-old Timothy Jensen was turning left onto McDowell Rd. from 19th Ave. when he was struck by a Toyota Prius that had run the red light.

Jensen was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Toyota, 38-year-old Erin L. Jaco, was taken into custody for suspicion of manslaughter after showing signs of impairment. No further information has been made available at this time.
