golf cart overturned on course injures womanCANOA RANCH, AZ – A 60-year-old woman was sent to the hospital after a golf cart accident at the Canoa Ranch Golf Resort on Thursday morning.

According to Green Valley News, firefighters responded to the single-vehicle crash near South Camino Del Sol and West Canoa Ranch Road at about 8:30 a.m.

The woman was transported to a Tucson hospital with a head injury. Details about the severity of her injury and condition have not been released.

An investigation into events leading up to the crash is ongoing.
