Woman Dies Days After Three-Vehicle Crash in Oro Valley

oro valley crashTUCSON, AZ – A woman succumbed to her injuries three days after a major collision in Oro Valley earlier this week.

According to KOLD, the three-vehicle crash took place on Sunday, April 25th, within the intersection of Oracle Road and Linda Vista Boulevard.

Police say a pickup truck driven by 51-year-old Gabriel Sandoval drifted into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with another pickup. Both trucks then spun around and collided with a third vehicle, pushing it off the roadway.

The driver in the second vehicle, 37-year-old Angelica Wren, was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Unfortunately, she died from her injuries on Wednesday.

Sandoval was also sent to the hospital, where he remains stable.

The occupants in the third vehicle sustained less serious injuries.

It is unclear if Sandoval will face any charges in connection to the fatal crash.
