Woman Struck, Killed After Being Hit by Car in Phoenix

The unidentified 36-year-old woman was hit in the area of North 21st Avenue and Camelback Road at about 3 a.m.

Police say the woman was crossing outside of the designated crosswalk.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if they will face any charges at this time.
