PHOENIX, AZ - A woman was hospitalized following a wrong-way crash caused by a suspected impaired driver near Papago Park last night.
According to a report by CBS 5, a silver sedan was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Galvin Parkway when it collided head-on with a Chevrolet SUV near McDowell Road at about 8:15 p.m.
An unidentified woman who was a passenger in the sedan was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if anyone else was hurt in the crash.
Police believe the driver in the sedan may have been impaired at the time of the crash.
