According to KGUN-9, the four-vehicle collision took place just before 3 p.m. within the intersection of Oracle Road and Hardy Road.
Police say 50-year-old Kathleen Marie Rich was heading south towards the intersection when her Fiat 500 slammed into the rear of another vehicle. As a result, the vehicle she struck was pushed into two others.
Rich was taken to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later. It is unclear if anyone else was injured during the crash.
