Head-On Crash Sends One to Hospital Wednesday

emergency sign above hospital entranceGREEN VALLEY, AZ – A head-on collision at an intersection in Green Valley sent one person to the hospital Wednesday, the Sahuarita Sun reports.

Authorities responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash at Continental Road and White House Canyon Road at about 11 a.m. They arrived to find one of the cars in a ditch and the other in a pecan field on the north side of the intersection.

One of the drivers was taken to Banner University Medical Center in Tucson with unspecified injuries while the other declined treatment.

An investigation by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department is ongoing.
