Phillips Law Group Sponsors Walk Like MADD

Phillips Law Group was honored to sponsor and participate in the 2016 Phoenix Walk Like MADD event hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) on Oct. 22, 2016.

The event, hosted at the Phoenix Zoo, included a 5K walk and a family festival aimed at raising awareness about the devastating effects of drunk driving.

Every day, more than 28 people die in drunk driving accidents, and every 120 seconds, someone is injured in an accident involving a drunk driver.

Each year, MADD organizations throughout the country host Walk Like MADD events and encourage participants to take up the fight against drunk driving. This year, thousands of people in more than 60 cities will participate in local events.

The Phoenix event raised more than $70,000 in online donations and involved more than 500 participants and 60 teams, including a team from Phillips Law Group.

Managing attorney Timothy Tonkin led the way on Saturday and even spoke during the event, featured in the video on this page.
