SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Drivers in northeast Scottsdale were faced with delays after a vehicle caught fire on Loop 101 Saturday afternoon.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the incident took place just before 2 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near Exit 44 to Talking Stick Way.

The cause of the fire is unclear at this time. However, multiple southbound lanes were shut down, causing significant delays in the area while crews worked to clear the scene.
