PHOENIX, AZ – Fire crews were called to the scene of a vehicle fire on I-10 in southeast Phoenix yesterday, Fox 10 reports.
The incident took place shortly after 2 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Elliot Road, in the Guadalupe area.

It is unclear at this time what may have sparked the fire, or if any injuries were sustained as a result.
The HOV lane and at least two left-hand lanes were closed as a result, causing significant traffic delays in the area throughout Sunday afternoon.
