Vehicle Fire in Green Valley

Fire GREEN VALLEY, AZ – Firefighters responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on Duval Mine Road in Green Valley early last Friday.

According to Green Valley News, the fire was reported at about 6 a.m. near the intersection with South Mission Road.

Fortunately, the 60-year-old male driver and his dog were able to exit the vehicle without injuries.

The roadway was shut down for some time while fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze, which had briefly spread to nearby brush.
