Crash at COVID-19 Vaccine Site Causes Three Injuries

TUCSON, AZ – Three people were injured and many volunteers shaken after a major crash at a COVID-19 vaccine site last Friday.

According to KOLD, a vehicle was in line at Tucson Medical Center when the driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and jumped the curb. The vehicle then crashed through a railing and barrier before coming to rest nearby.

Both the driver and passenger in the vehicle, as well as a security officer, were taken to the medical center to be checked for injuries. The security guard required stitches, while the couple from the vehicle was cleared to leave.
