USPS Driver Dies in Rollover Crash on I-17

USPS trucks lined up in a parking lotPHOENIX, AZ – The driver of a USPS truck was killed when the vehicle overturned along I-17 on Thursday afternoon.

According to a report by CBS 5, the incident took place at about 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near Anthem Way.

Troopers say the unidentified postal worker was thrown from the vehicle during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The northbound lane of I-17 was blocked in that area for several hours after the crash. All lanes were reopened by 7 p.m.
