Rush Hour Crash Backs Up Traffic in U.S 95 Near Airport

YUMA, AZ – Police in Yuma were forced to block all lanes along U.S. Route 95 just east of the Yuma International Airport following a collision during Friday morning’s rush hour.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the crash occurred at milepost 34, near the intersection for Fortuna Road, at about 8:45 a.m.

No injuries have been reported at this time. However, authorities advised motorists to avoid the area if possible as delays and closures lasted through Friday morning.
