Two-Year-Old Killed in Tempe Wrong-Way Crash

don't drink and drive message on roadTEMPE, AZ – A man and a two-year-old child were killed in a wrong-way crash caused by a suspected impaired driver in Tempe early this morning.

According to 12 News, an unidentified juvenile driver was heading north in the southbound lanes of Southern Avenue when he hit another car near Price Road.

An adult male and a two-year-old child who were passengers in the vehicle suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver and the child’s mother were hospitalized in serious condition.

The woman driving the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities believe the juvenile driver may have been impaired when the accident occurred. Further investigations are ongoing.
