GLENDALE, AZ – Two people were pulled from their vehicle after it became stuck in a Glendale canal lock earlier this month.
According to a tweet by the Glendale Fire Department, the unidentified driver crashed into a canal near 75th Avenue and Camelback Road sometime before 2 p.m.
Firefighters were called to the intersection of 75th Ave and Camelback Rd for a car into the canal. Thankfully the two occupants only suffered minor injuries. Phoenix PD is investigating the cause. Two individuals were pinned inside the vehicle. Firefighters extricated both occupants, who suffered only minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, police believe driver distraction may have been a factor.
