Two Dead After Wrong-Way Crash in Eloy

emergency sign in hallwayELOY, AZ – Two people were killed following a collision involving a wrong-way driver on I-10 Wednesday evening, CBS 5 reports.

The collision occurred at about 4 p.m., when a vehicle heading west in the eastbound lanes of the interstate slammed into an oncoming car near Picacho Peak Road.

The eastbound lanes were closed for several hours while authorities responded to the crash.

No identities have been released at this time.
