Two Killed in Deadly Phoenix Crash on I-17

PHOENIX, AZ – Police are investigating a head-on collision on Friday that killed two drivers, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.

The multi-vehicle collision took place at I-17 and Greenway Road on the evening of January 29.

A sedan, driven by 38-year-old Marshall Wray, was traveling the wrong way on Greenway Road when it struck another vehicle head-on. The other vehicle, traveling southbound on the Greenway Road off-ramp, was being driven by35-year-old Romsen Badalpour.

Emergency responders pronounced Wray dead at the scene.The driver of the other vehicle, Badalpour, was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. We will continue to monitor this developing story for any updates, should they be released.
