PHOENIX, AZ. ”“ Two children are dead following a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 4:23 p.m. at. According to NBC News 12, a driver in a Chevrolet Silverado heading north on EL Mirage Road ran a stop sign and collided with a car heading eastbound through the intersection.

The occupants of the car included a mother and her two children, ages 10 and 12. Both drivers were unhurt, but both children were killed in the crash.

Authorities are still investigating the collision. We will continue to monitor this developing story and will update as additional information is provided.
