PHOENIX, AZ - Two children were seriously injured as the result of a major collision in northwest Phoenix on Thursday.
According to reporting by 12 News, the two-vehicle crash took place near the intersection of 56th Street and Thunderbird Road sometime before 7 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear. However, a 4-year-old and second child of unspecified age were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported.
