Multi-Car Crash in Phoenix Seriously Injures Five

PHOENIX, AZ – Five people were rushed to the hospital Saturday night after a collision on Peoria Avenue.

According to AZ Central, the two-vehicle incident occurred at about 8 p.m. within the intersection of Peoria and 43rd Avenues.

Four victims””including an 8-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy and two adult women””were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for potentially life-threatening injuries. Another 9-year-old girl was also transported to the hospital, but is reportedly in stable condition.

Two other individuals involved in the accident were treated at the scene and released.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown. We will continue to monitor this developing story for any further updates should they become available.
