Woman, Toddler Critically Injured After Crash in Mesa

MESA, AZ – Two adults and two children were taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Mesa early Tuesday morning.

According to ABC 15, emergency crews responded to reports of an accident near the intersection of Dobson Road and Broadway Road at about 8 a.m. where a vehicle hit a power pole and a fire hydrant, knocking down electrical wires in the process.

A 23-year-old woman and her 2-year-old son were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, while a 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital and is stable. A 1-year-old child was also driven to the hospital by a family member as a precaution.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
