Three Injured in Tucson Apartment Fire

Tucson apartment fireTUCSON, AZ – Three people were taken to the hospital following a major apartment fire on Tucson’s southside early Wednesday morning, KOLD reports.

The fire broke out at an apartment complex near the intersection of Valencia Road and 12th Avenue before 5 a.m.

Firefighters rescued one person who became trapped inside the building. Bystanders assisted fire crews by setting up a ladder for those inside to escape once the main exit was blocked.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
