BENSON, AZ – At least one lane on I-10 was shut down for several hours following a vehicle fire in Benson late Thursday night, Arizona DOT reports.
The incident took place at about 11:30 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway at milepost 302, just west of State Route 90.

The cause of the blaze remains unclear. However, at least one westbound lane of traffic was closed for more than six hours while first responders worked the scene. We do not know whether anyone was injured in the incident.
