MESA, AZ – One person is dead following a three-vehicle collision and subsequent rollover that took place on US 90 yesterday evening.

AZ Family reports that the crash happened at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, near the highway’s intersection with Greenfield Road. A vehicle had been changing lanes when it struck a second vehicle, which in turn collided with a third. The third vehicle rolled over, partially ejecting its driver.

That individual was rushed to a nearby hospital, where they died. The roadway was closed in the area until about 10:15 p.m.

Further investigations are ongoing.
