Woman Dies, Three Suffer Injuries in Downtown Car Crash

PHOENIX, AZ – One woman is dead and three individuals are injured after their vehicle slammed into a wall just west of Downtown Phoenix Wednesday, Fox 10 reports.

Police say the accident happened at about 9 p.m. on the night of July 29, when the driver of a southbound vehicle on 19th Avenue lost control and crashed into a block wall. Emergency responders transported three passengers to a local hospital, where 21-year-old Victoria Dukepoo was pronounced dead.

The 20-year-old driver received only minor injuries.

Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
