Dairy Truck Collision Seriously Injures Three People

TEMPE, AZ – Three people were seriously injured when a dairy truck collided with a passenger vehicle near the Maricopa Freeway early this morning.

Fox 10 reports that the collision occurred north of the intersection of 48th Street and Broadway Road at about 1 a.m. on August 3. Three people were seriously injured when their SUV crashed into a dairy truck, knocking the truck on its side. The circumstances leading to the collision are unclear at this time.

The wreck closed northbound lanes of 48th Street, while a single southbound lane remained open. A crane was required to set the dairy truck back on its wheels.
