PHOENIX, AZ – Three people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision along the Loop 101 Freeway Saturday evening, KTAR reports.

The crash, which involved seven people, occurred shortly after 7 p.m. at the I-10 overpass.

Firefighters say a 58-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A 15-year-old girl was also hospitalized with less serious injuries. No further details regarding their conditions are available.

The roadway was shut down for about an hour and a half, reopening at 8:45 p.m.

Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash.
