TEMPE, AZ – Three people were seriously injured in a rear-end collision in south Tempe on Saturday. One of the victims was a pregnant woman.
According to CBS 5, the crash took place in the southbound lanes of I-10 near the exit to Warner Road at about 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters say that an SUV and a sedan collided at a high rate of speed. One of the vehicles rear-ended the other, although it is unclear which.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report.
A total of three adults, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized in critical condition. Their identities are being withheld at this time.
