Mobile Home Fire Sends Man to Hospital, Kills Three Dogs

TEMPE, AZ – Firefighters in Tempe responded to a mobile home fire on Tuesday that left a man seriously injured and three dogs dead.

According to ABC 15, the fire broke out at a mobile home back near the intersection of Baseline Road and Kyrene Road on the morning of January 19.

The sole occupant of the home, an unidentified man, was rushed to the hospital to be treated for severe burns and an injury to his arm. Unfortunately, his three dogs were killed in the fire.

The cause of the blaze remains unclear at this time. However, firefighters believe it could be related to a smoking incident.
