MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ. – A collision involving a truck and an all-terrain-vehicle killed two 13-year-old girls and severely injured a 19-year-old in Dolan Springs.
According to 12 News NBC, the crash occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday on Pierce Ferry Road. The 13-year-old victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the 19-year-old was transported to a hospital in Las Vegas with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck that collided with the SUV was identified as 27-year-old Brock Hill. Hill reportedly fled the scene on foot and was later arrested by Mohave County sheriff’s deputies. He has been charged with three counts of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
The investigation into the crash continues, and authorities have not yet announced whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the accident.
