Investigators say 19-year-old Joseph Daniel Saiz was traveling at a high rate of speed on Bell Road at about 8:30 p.m. when his Ford Mustang collided with another vehicle near Grandview Road.

Saiz was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from his vehicle. He died at the scene.

An 18-year-old passenger in Saiz’s car, Elana Keltner Crawford, was rushed to a local hospital, where she died a short time later.
