Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes Into ATV, Killing One

Emergency vehicle lightsPHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed Friday night when a suspected drunk driver crashed into his ATV in north Phoenix.

According to a report by KTAR, the driver of a sedan heading east on Osborn Road turned left in front of a Polaris ATV near 15th Street at about 10 p.m.

The operator of the ATV was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later. He has been identified as Trenton Buckner, 32.

The driver of the sedan, 30-year-old Monique Newton, was arrested after displaying signs of impairment at the scene. She was booked into jail on a manslaughter charge.
