TEMPE, AZ – A skateboarder was killed in Tempe on Wednesday night when he was struck by a motorcycle, CBS 5 reports.
Police say the man was riding his skateboard at the intersection of Priest Drive and Broadway Road when he was struck by the motorcyclist at about 7:30 p.m.
The victim, a man in his late 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcyclist, who is also in his late 20s, was unhurt.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor at this time.
