Three Hurt After Six Vehicle Pileup on I-10 in Phoenix

Stock image of police lightsPHOENIX, AZ – A collision involving six vehicles on I-10 resulted in several hospitalizations on Thursday morning.

According to a report by Fox 10 Phoenix, the crash took place at about 8:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, just east of 67th Avenue.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, six vehicles including a tractor-trailer and a tow truck were involved.

One female victim was extricated after becoming pinned inside her sedan. She was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Two other individuals, a man and a woman, were also hospitalized with serious injuries.

All eastbound lanes were shut down for about a half-hour while crews worked to clear the scene.
