TEMPE, AZ - Rush-hour commuters faced significant delays following a collision near Tempe Town Lake Friday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. within the eastbound lanes of SR-202, just west of the SR-101 interchange.
It is still unclear exactly what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved. However, the eastbound lanes along this portion of SR-202 were completely blocked for about 20 minutes, causing heavy traffic to build up.
All lanes have since been reopened.
