PHOENIX, AZ – Seven children were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in west Phoenix Sunday evening.
According to CBS 5, the collision occurred just after 6 p.m. near the intersection of 71st Avenue and Buckeye Road.
Little information about the crash is available, although investigators are working to establish an official cause. Photos from the scene show a silver minivan overturned in the intersection.
Of the seven children that were hospitalized, three were in critical condition and four were in stable condition. Their ages range from six months to 16 years. There are no other updates about their conditions at this time.
