TUCSON, AZ - Investigators with the Tucson Police Department have released more information pertaining to a previously reported fatal accident on I-19.
According to KOLD, the crash occurred at about 12:45 p.m. on October 22nd, when a passenger vehicle collided with a semi-truck in the northbound lanes of I-19 near Duval Mine Road.
One individual in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while the other occupant was transported to Banner University Medical Center to be treated for life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured as a result of the crash.
