WADDELL, AZ - Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle collided with a booth at White Tank Mountain Regional Park early Wednesday morning.
CBS 5 reports the driver of a black sedan crashed into the booth at the park’s entrance at about 5 a.m.
It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Fortunately, no park employees were working in the booth at the time of the crash.
Both occupants in the vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
Team members will be stationed outside until further notice while crews work to evaluate the structural integrity of the entry booth.
