Police Looking for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Struck Pedestrian

EL MIRAGE, AZ – Investigators with the El Mirage Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect who struck a woman as she was walking with her children last Thursday evening.

According to AZ Family, the incident was reported at around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of 122nd Drive and Moreno Boulevard.

Officials believe the woman was walking with her children on the sidewalk when the driver of a faded gray Toyota sedan ran up on the sidewalk and struck her. The driver sped off without stopping.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where her condition remains unknown. Officials have not said if any of the children were injured as a result of the crash.
