Rollover Crash Causes Major Traffic Delays in Peoria

Police lights backgroundPEORIA, AZ – Rush-hour commuters were met with significant delays following a collision along US-60 on Thursday evening.

According to a tweet by the Arizona Department of Transportation, the crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway, just before the Loop 101 interchange.

The specifics of the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, traffic camera footage shows an overturned vehicle blocking the center lanes of the roadway with traffic getting by slowly in the far left and right lanes.

Significant delays were reported in the area while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes have since been reopened.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured.
