PHOENIX, AZ – Commuters faced delays following a rush-hour crash on Loop 101 early Monday morning.

According to a Tweet by Arizona DOT, the accident took place at about 8:32 a.m. within the southbound lanes of the freeway near Broadway Road.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the collision. However, authorities were forced to shut down the center lane for about 10 minutes so the wreckage could be safely moved from the roadway. All lanes have since been reopened.
